# Upgrade

### Upgrade Chart Version

You can update your version of the Helm chart with the Helm repo update command.

```bash
helm repo update
```

### Upgrade Bindplane Version

Bindplane Server can be upgraded by updating the image version tag in your `values.yaml` file.

```yaml
image:
  name: ghcr.io/observiq/bindplane-ee
  tag: 1.39.0
```

Once the new image tag is in place, run the upgrade command.

```bash
helm upgrade \
    --values="values.yaml" \
    --namespace=bindplane \
    --create-namespace \
    --install \
    bindplane \
    bindplane/bindplane
```
