Notifications
Notifications in Bindplane alert you to important events and project metrics.
Recent unread notifications appear in a dropdown in the navigation bar, and you can access the full notifications inbox to view and manage all notifications for your current scope.

Key Features
Notification Dropdown
The notification dropdown is accessible from the top navigation bar via a bell icon (🔔) and displays recent unread notifications for your current scope:
Unread Count Badge: Visual indicator showing the number of unread notifications
Go to Inbox Link: Click "Go to Inbox" at the bottom of the dropdown to navigate to the full notifications inbox page
View Links: Some notifications include a "View" link for quick access to related content
Notifications Inbox
A dedicated page for managing all notifications in the appropriate context:
Context-Scoped: Displays all notifications for your current scope (account and organization) regardless of status
Status Management: Mark notifications as read or unread individually or in bulk
View Links: Click "View" links on notifications to access related content or recommendations
Bindplane Generated Notifications
Bindplane automatically generates notifications on a daily basis based on your project and organization state. These notifications help you monitor the health and status of your Bindplane deployment:
Number of Errored Rollouts: Alerts you to failed configuration rollouts
Number of Errored Agents: Notifies you about agents that are experiencing errors
Number of Pending Rollouts: Informs you about configurations awaiting a rollout
Number of Outdated Agents: Alerts you about agents that can be upgraded
(COMING SOON) Days until License Expires: Reminds you about upcoming license expiration
Using Notifications
Accessing the Notification Dropdown
Look for the bell icon in the top navigation bar
Click the bell icon to open the notification dropdown
The dropdown shows:
Unread count badge (if there are unread notifications)
List of recent unread notifications
"Go to Inbox" link at the bottom
Opening the Notifications Inbox
Click the bell icon in the navigation bar to open the dropdown
Click "Go to Inbox" at the bottom of the dropdown

The notifications inbox displays all notifications for your current scope (project and organization).
Managing Notification Status
Mark as Read:
Single: Click the "Mark as read" icon button on a notification
Multiple: Select notifications using checkboxes, then click "Mark as read" in the page header
Mark as Unread:
Single: Click the "Mark as unread" icon button on a read notification
Multiple: Select read notifications using checkboxes, then click "Mark as unread" in the page header
Using "View" Links
Some notifications include a "View" link that provides quick access to related content:
In the Dropdown: Click the "View" button on a notification in the dropdown
In the Inbox: Click the "View" button in the notification actions column
Action: Opens the related content, recommendation, or details page
Example: Checking Daily Project State Notifications
Click the bell icon in the NavBar to open the dropdown
Review daily project state notifications in the dropdown:
"5 Errored Rollouts" - Click "View" to see which rollouts failed
"3 Errored Agents" - Click "View" to investigate agent issues
"2 Pending Rollouts" - Monitor these to ensure they complete
"10 Outdated Agents" - Click "View" to see which agents need upgrades
Click "Go to Inbox" to see all project notifications
Address issues by clicking "View" links on relevant notifications
Mark notifications as read after reviewing them
